President
ARAVIND BAPU SAHEB DESHPANDE
Born on 09/01/1950 in Hukkeri, Belgaum District, Karnataka and completed my Science graduation from Karnataka College, Dharwad. Coming from a business family, I continued in Saraf & Jewellers, pursued agriculture, and represented LIC as a Chairman’s Club Member.
I am actively associated with social and educational institutions, having served as Chairman of Jadhava Ji Education Society (14 institutions from KG to PG) and held leadership roles in cultural, welfare, and educational trusts.

Secretary
SRIDHAR K NADGIR
Born in Dharwad, Karnataka, Sridhar holds a Bachelor’s degree in Arts from Karnataka University, Dharwad. Dedicated to social work, he serves as Trustee of Bharathi Sikshana Prasara Samathi, Dharwad, and as Secretary of Seva Bharathi Trust and Lokahita Trust. His commitment to education and community development has made him an active contributor to various social initiatives.

Treasurer
Venkatesh Krishnappaji Poojar
Born on June 15, 1951, in Jalihala, Badami Taluk, graduated with a B.Sc. from Basaveshwar College, Bagalkot (1974). He served Bank of Maharashtra for 35 years, earning the Best Employee Award twice, and retired in 2011.
Post-retirement, he became a progressive organic farmer, cultivating bananas and sugarcane, and promoting sustainable farming practices. He was honored with the Krishi Cap Award by Nirani Sugar Factory in 2025.
Currently, he is the Chairman of Shri Shakambari Shakti Peetha Badami Trust Committee, committed to social and cultural development.

GOVINDAPPA B GOUDAPPAGOL
Born on February 4, 1955, in Hulkund, Belgaum District, holds an M.A. in Economics (2nd Rank, Karnataka University) and began his career as a lecturer and researcher in economics.
He served as Executive Secretary at Karnataka Chamber of Commerce & Industry for 15 years, later joining Karnataka Government Class I Services in 1997. Over his career, he worked as Deputy Commissioner of Commercial Taxes, earning the District Rajyotsava Award for Best Officer.
Govindappa has published several articles on economics and has deep interests in taxation, public administration, horticulture, philosophy, and literature.

Kiran Gurusiddappa Guddadakeri
Born in Hubballi in 1969, I completed my schooling and earned a Commerce degree from Jagadguru Gangadhar College, Hubballi. Coming from a business family, I continued our traditional business and also started a paper plate manufacturing unit.
Influenced by my parents’ values and participation in Vachana Shastra study camps, I have been actively involved in social work for over 40 years. Currently, I serve as the Regional Coordinator for Karnataka Uttar Pradesh branch of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh.

Sudhakar.K.Shetty
Born on January 1, 1969, in Ajiri Village, Kundapur Taluk, moved to Hubballi at age 13 and has lived there for over four decades. A successful entrepreneur, he runs Hotel Hari Priya and Harsh Fast Food in Hubballi.
He has served as Organizing Secretary and Working President of Hubli Hotel Association, hosting the 17th state-level conference, and is an active member of Hubli-Dharwad Bunt Sangha.
Recipient of the Hospitality Ratna Award, Sudhakar is committed to excellence in hospitality and lives with his wife Shobha and two children, Sachin and Sanath.

K R SUBRAHMANYA BHAT
Born on July 22, 1980, in Kadtoka, Honnavar Taluk, I graduated in Law from Gurusiddappa Kothambari Law College, Hubballi. After gaining experience as a tax advocate, I transitioned to providing tax consultancy services.
I actively manage the historic Makki Narayana Temple, a three-century-old family heritage, and contribute to social causes. Currently, I reside in Hubballi with my family, continuing my work as a legal consultant and social activist.

Hanumanth Shanbhag
Born on January 5, 1951, in Kumta, earned a B.A. from Dr. A.V. Baliga College in 1972. He joined Corporation Bank in 1973, serving across Karnataka for 39 years and receiving multiple Best Employee awards before retiring in 2011.
He has held key roles in education and social service, including Executive President of Kanara College Society, President of Sri Kalpataru Seva Pratishtan, and Trustee of Lokahita Trust since 2009.
Hanumanth lives with his family and continues to contribute actively to community development.
